Taxes & Government
In NC, county & city governments levy both real & personal property taxes. City/county tax fiscal
year ends on June 30, and invoices are sent during July each year, payable by August (discounted)
and due by January of the coming year (no discount). Personal property is listed each January
in your county of residence and billed after the current year's tax rate is established.
